S&S Organic Produce and Natural Foods, The Butcher Shop, and The Deli were originally operated as three separate businesses. It wasn’t until 1997 when a few walls came down and the three businesses became one. As you walk into The Butcher Shop, you will notice that we focus on old-fashioned personalized service. We are a full service butcher shop catering to the needs of our customers.

We carry a large line of natural meats which are produced without hormones and antibiotics. All of our natural beef is USDA Choice that is sourced from California. We offer natural poultry from California by Mary’s Free Range Chicken, Rocky All Natural Chicken, Rosie Organic Chicken, and Diestel Turkey Ranch. Looking for something a bit more local? The Butcher Shop offers local meats from Llano Seco, Turri Farms and Sun Fed Ranch.

The Butcher Shop grinds fresh meats daily without the addition of fillers or preservatives, along with making natural chicken and pork sausages. We also make meatloaf, chicken fajita, chicken cordon bleu, stuffed pork chops, and stuffed chicken breasts for convenient meals to prepare at home.

Having a dinner party or other celebration where you want to offer a specific cut of meat or seafood? If you don’t see the item you are looking for in our counter, The Butcher Shop staff is happy to help. Ask one of our staff members about crown roasts, rib roasts, thick cut steaks, whole salmon, and other specialty seafood.

In The Butcher Shop you will also find the only 16-foot counter north of San Francisco devoted only to fresh seafood and fish. Our display is filled with products from around the world including wild and sustainably farmed fishes. Seasonal items include pacific salmon, fresh crab, Alaskan halibut, and more. Live shellfish is available including mussels, clams, and eastern oysters. Specialty oysters like kumomodos, miagis, and BBQ’s can be ordered with notice. Shrimp, King Crab, as well as cooked and raw prawns complete our display. Our buyers are able to bring in product five days a week, which allows us to provide the most consistent quality available. Special orders are always welcome.

YES! We recommend calling ahead and speaking with The Butcher Shop about the availability of the product you are looking for. During the holidays you can place orders ahead of time for Turkeys, Hams, Rib Roasts, Crown Roasts, Crab and Seafood. This way we can guarantee your order will be ready for your special occasion.

Where Can I Buy Local Meats?

The Butcher Shop offers local meats from Llano Seco, Turri Farms and Sun Fed Ranch. We also offer products from California including: Niman Ranch, Mary’s, Rocky, and Diestel. Some products are only available on a seasonal basis.

Does The Butcher Shop Carry Wild Alaskan Salmon?

During Salmon season, which starts in Mid-May and goes through Mid-Oct, The Butcher Shop has fresh Wild Alaskan King Salmon available in our fish counter. During these months we buy in additional salmon that we fillet and freeze so there is Wild Alaskan Salmon available year round, or while supplies last.
